Overall Personality:
Logan is one of the most intelligent human beings you will ever find, and that’s not even arrogance. There are few that surpass his intelligence, his brother not even reaching it. But his intelligence doesn’t come without a cost. He is officially insane, diagnosed and all. Completely and utterly insane. But they won’t lock him up. They can’t lock him up. They can’t catch him when they come for him, so they’ve pretty much given up. Once they caught him, but he escaped with a little note that said that they wouldn’t ever be able to keep him.
Logan’s ability to adjust to things and focus is also highly honed and better than most people’s ability to do those things. When he starts something that is one of the only things he can think about until that something is done, until he has finished his job. Literally, he cannot stop. If he attempts to stop, he fails at that attempt and cannot take his mind off of it, no matter what he tries to distract himself with.
Part of his insanity is that he doesn’t seem to care about anyone, sometimes not even himself, risking his life like it was nothing, not showing very much emotion. Except for anger when one is stupid, interrupting, or calls him insane. He will get very angry, very quickly at the person who does any of the things on his dislike list or is one of those things, but once he vents it, he becomes calm quickly once more. Quick to rise, quick to calm, Logan is normally a cool and collected person. He doesn’t really take assassinations on, despite his personality making it so it wouldn’t be too hard against his conscience, because he doesn’t really like killing people very much, because it feels like a waste of time to him, though sometimes he will take those jobs, if he feels like it at the time.
Logan sometimes has episodes of insanity, hearing indescribable voices, drumming, a pounding in his head, and he seems to go mad during these episodes, though he does tend to hide it well, mostly because he separates himself right before these episodes, feeling them come along. He's not violent during it, unless you count the want to commit violence against himself during them (ie trying to cut the sound of his head, or simply end all the pain). These episodes come up seemingly random, though more likely to occur when he is extremely stressed. Also, he views emotions as weakness, and therefore when he meets a person he will usually dislike them because they have emotions. He plays with emotions if they have a purpose in his hired job, he'll act, he'll lie, he'll cheat, as long as it means he wins/succeeds. He can tell one's personality by a simple look (or at least a partial one), noticing just about everything quickly, and he knows when one is lying to him, though he may a fool to the lie.
However, deep down somewhere in him, he is hurt by his brother, and does care about most people, and will not go against the morals he has on the surface, which is discrimination against people for something they cannot control, more specifically, their family. Though, he does sometimes go against this principal sometimes taking work from Voldemort and the Death Eaters as long as it doesn’t deal with killing muggles, muggle borns, or something about those two groups, being a squib and feeling a sort of attachment to muggles, though few know that he is in fact a squib and why he feels some sort of protectiveness over muggles and muggle borns, though many see his use and how good he is at what he does.
Numbing the pain for a while will
make it worse when you finally feel it.
make it worse when you finally feel it.
Parents: Unknown
Siblings: Matt David Baker
Hometown: Cardiff
Current Residence: Random Places
Overall History:
He was old enough to remember bits about his parents before his mother died, though he was only about 2 years old or so. Logan has a very good memory, almost photographic. He is by far one of the most intelligent people you will ever meet, but that is what makes him so different. His intelligence contradicts emotions, and therefore he seems to have very few emotions, his intelligence and logic overpowering. Though, he does care for his brother. His mother died when he was two years old, and his father left, unable to be found. Matt and Logan were sent to an orphanage that Logan was adopted first from by the Scott family.
However, it wasn't long (about two years or so) that the Scott family lost Logan in a store on a vacation, and never was able to find Logan again. Logan had unknowingly ran away in Cardiff. When Logan was almost 5 years old (a year of living on his own, thinking his family abandoned him, despite them having looked for him for a long while), Albus Dumbledore found the boy, and put him in an orphanage. However, Dumbledore kept an eye on Logan, and after not agreeing with the orphanage for several years, Logan was allowed to go to Hogwarts, though not as a student, but an understudy for caretaker for the years he would’ve gone to school if he were not a squib. He has stayed the summers, despite it against the rules normally, usually hiding well enough that they can't catch him and running if anyone finds him during the summers
Logan met Matt when he was third year, it being Matt's first year at Hogwarts. The two were fairly good friends, and eventually, after comparing adoption stories and contacting their orphanage, found out they were brothers. Logan then formed one of the only attachments he's ever had, becoming extremely protective of his brother. Logan at one point found their biological father who was dying. Their father called Logan a mistake and that he was not his father, nor would he ever want to be a father of such a complete moron. Plus a few other choice things. Logan nearly killed their father then, but decided to let him suffer his disease until the very end.
After school, Logan and Matt lost a lot of contact. Logan became mentally unstable, began hearing drumming in his head as well as occasional voices, and was institutionalized at one point. After being released from the asylum he was admitted to, he became a mercenary of sorts for whoever would pay him for a job. Logan would not really care what job he would have to do, as long as he was doing something that would entertain his extremely active and easily bored mind. However, he has two rules:
1.) They must pay all of the money in advance.
2.) There can be no mass killing of a certain group, only specific targets.
When he was lost for that year before Dumbledore found him in Cardiff, Logan had to toughen up, and becoming a good fighter, and did not do bad for a young kid. At the orphanage he hated everyone there, and wanted to kill them, so he trained even further. At Hogwarts, Logan was already entrenched in fighting, he continued to train with his new skills, becoming one of the best fighters with various muggle weapons (though he prefers not to use guns, even if he can shoot them well enough). However, it was always in Logan's personality not to show emotions if he had them, his logic being more powerful than his emotions. His emotions were easily locked away, except when it came to his brother.
In the mayhem that was the late 70’s and early 80’s, Logan was hired to kill his brother Matt. Still protective over his brother, he accepted the job with the plan to hide his brother. However, Matt did not realize this when Logan came to him, and said he was hired to kill him. Matt felt that he was defending himself, and so Logan had to fight back in order to not get killed by his little brother, who was jumping the gun. Logan tried to explain, but Matt was unable hear him over a fight nearby. Logan had hoped to fake his little brother's death in the middle of a semi-small battle in a muggle town between Order and the Death Eaters, but was unable to do so, eventually faking his own death there. Everyone believed him dead, his brother, Dumbledore, everyone. He went into hiding, and watched over his brother, making sure no one would kill him.
It wasn’t until quite recently that Logan stopped hiding and revealed that he was not dead, and had become a mercenary through the years that no one really knew the identity of, not even assigning him a name, but most knew of his deeds and his record of never failing a job.
