Where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also.
there will your heart be also.
Strengths: Sense of Humor, Noble, Caring, Intelligent, Brave
Weaknesses: Pushing Away People, Trust Issues, Commitment Issues, Low Self-Esteem
Likes: Chocolate, Chocolate Milk, Hot Coco, Milk Chocolate, Chocolate Smoothies, Chocolate Milk Shakes, Chocolate Brownies, Chocolate, The Smell of Chocolate, Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Icing… Did I mention, Chocolate? Nymphadora Tonks, Friends, Pranks (as long as they are not cruel), DADA, Teaching Others
Dislikes: His Werewolf-ness, Discrimination (Especially against non-dangerous creatures), Cruelty, Inability to Help
Goals: To not kill anyone, perhaps he might be able to be a professor again, though he knows it impossible, or perhaps an author. He really doesn’t know what he wants to do since he feels professorship is impossible for him. Other goals include doing the best he can for the war effort, even if it means dying for this war (though he does seem to try hard to die, but it just doesn’t seem to work).
Fears: Killing others due to his werewolf-ness
Quirks: He tends to pull at his hair when stressed out
Overall Personality:
Remus is a fairly cheerful young man who knows how to have fun. How could he not have a sense of humor when he was one of the Marauders? Remus appreciates every little thing in life, and took his school seriously. After all he posed a risk and he was not going to have that risk go in vain. However, his good sense of humor only seems to come out around Tonks nowadays, and event then, it has a hard time coming out. Especially since he just lost his best friend the previous summer.
Remus, however, also has some of the lowest self-esteem any person could have and still have good times. He always thinks he's going to hurt someone, and he distances himself for that reason. Remus is very sensitive about his condition, and kept it a secret for that reason, thinking that the instant someone finds out they will hate him forever because of it. He cares more for the people around him than himself, and so he would always do what would make his friends happy.
He didn't step in when his friends were being bullies, because he was afraid they would leave him if he stood up to them, and they are the only people he believes will ever accept him. Remus wants to be accepted by people, but doesn't believe anyone will ever accept his werewolf side, and spread word about his disease around. So he separates himself from people because of this fear, which is quite rational and was fueled by his father. He is afraid of happiness, because every happy thing had been ripped from him, and he wouldn't want to get his hopes up.
Numbing the pain for a while will
make it worse when you finally feel it.
make it worse when you finally feel it.

Overall History:
Remus was born to the two most loving parents in the world. They loved their young boy very, very much. However, it was one night when he was four years old, his father came home after placing a werewolf in Azkaban for it's misdoings. He promised his son he'd catch the leader of the "Big Bad Wolves". Greyback was not happy. That night was a full-moon, of course, and everyone was asleep, at least it seemed so. Remus woke up that night hearing something outside. He went out the back door and found his dad fighting a huge werewolf. His father saw him, told him to run, was swatted to the side, before the werewolf bit the young four year old right between his neck and his right shoulder, where he has a huge scar even today.
His mother, a halfblood healer, was woken and tried her best to heal little Remus, but she didn't even know if Remus would live. When he lived through the night, they were relieved. Remus didn't understand why each month from then his parents sent him out into a shed, which was unbreakable and locked, and he couldn't remember anything but the mornings when he would be covered with blood. His parents wouldn't allow him to go anywhere outside the house besides the shed. Remus learned, when he was 5 years old, a little less than a year later, what he had become. His father began telling Remus on how he could not trust anyone because they would hate him for what he was. Remus learned to keep it a tight knit secret.
From then on, his father would always tell him how he would never go to school, and never have anyone outside the house who would truly like him for what he was, a monster. His mother, on the other hand, was much more hopeful and told Remus that he would find that special someone and make friends. Dumbledore arrived at their house when he turned 11 requesting Remus to attend Hogwarts. They denied him many times, until Remus begged them to let him go, and so they did. They did say that the instant he almost hurt someone or actually did hurt someone they would pull him out.
Remus met three boys on the train to Hogwarts that would change his life forever. The boys seemed to have a jolly good time, and planned a big prank, but that said prank was flawed. Remus gave them some logical advice on how to make it not fail, and so it succeeded, and embarrassed Severus Snape and several others. They seemed to like him, and so they made him their friend. The four boys grew close, and over the next two years, the three others noticed that he was disappearing each month. Peter guessed it first, but Sirius asked Remus first. When he admitted it at the end of the second year, they accepted him. He never expected it.
Over the next four years, his friends trained to become animagus and just recently, they were successful. And so from then on, his full moons were not alone. Lily also found out about this over the years, and she was very nice to him, and accepted him as well. While the two are not really great friends yet, he does have a crush on the red-headed beauty James was in love with. Those four years were fairly fun, even if James and Sirius hit the height of their pranking, including an incident where Remus almost killed Severus Snape in their 5th year, and he has lived with that guilt over this past summer, trying to be nicer to Snape and stand up just slightly, but not very much and with very weak attempts, for Severus, even calling him Severus instead of Snape or Snivly.
And then, he lost all of his friends, including Sirius Black who was locked up in Azkaban for killing James which Remus later found out was just a set up by his other friend, Peter Pettigrew. Remus felt even more betrayed than Sirius, because it was a hell worse than Azkaban (and knowing that you had done the crime you were committed of doing) living in a world where you knew you had no one. Then again, Remus did know the hell Sirius went through and shoved his depressed ways away when Sirius was around, and tried to make Sirius happier being cooped up in his house. They would play pranks on the Order members, in an effort to make Sirius happy, and life bearable for him. Remus began a relationship with Nymphadora Tonks (whom he met the previous summer) on Christmas in 1995, the faking happiness for Sirius actually making him feel a lot happier and safer. Fake it 'til you make it, right?
However, Sirius died in the earlier middle part of 1996. Remus’s depression came back in full swing. He broke it off with Nymphadora Tonks, and volunteered for a dangerous mission with the werewolves, where he was allowed to come back once every two months. However, during his time there, he was affected by what he would later realize meant he was an elemental when he came back recently, due to the episode he experienced September 13th. He nearly died on his way back. Dumbledore refused to let him go back, and Dumbledore is currently the only person who knows that Remus is the Life elemental. Remus found it quite ironic that he, a werewolf, was a life elemental. And Dumbledore believes he would be a better asset in London than with the werewolves with this new found power.
